Born in Poland, he studied organ and saxophone.
He is an organist and professor of organ specializing in liturgical music, having earned his degrees with honors from the Episcopal Organ School in Pelplin (Poland, 1993).
He is a saxophone professor from the Grudziadz Conservatory of Music (Poland, 1994).
He subsequently continued to further his training and experience as an organist with Professor Esteban Landart at the San Sebastián Conservatory of Music, Musikene, and at the Bydgoszcz Conservatory (Poland), with Professor Radoslaw Marzec.
Since 2002, he has been based in Spain, where he regularly performs organ and saxophone concerts.
In addition, Maestro Prella is regularly invited to give organ recitals at national and international festivals in Poland, Norway, Germany, the Balearic Islands, and Italy.
His repertoire ranges from Baroque music to works by contemporary composers.
He is also a renowned and highly respected expert in improvisation.
Throughout these years, he has served as organist at Los Corrales de Buelna (2002) and as titular organist at Santander Cathedral (2004), as well as being the author and architect of the project to build the three new organs at Santander Cathedral.
He is the author of several CDs, Artistic Director of the “Las Merindades” International Baroque Organ Music Festival, and Artistic Director of the San Vicente Mártir International Organ Music Festival; he is the designer and master organ builder responsible for the construction of the three new organs at Santander Cathedral.
